The Dolomiti Winter Trail is the third edition of a trail running race on the snow which will be held in Lavarone (Tn) on March 4th 2018. You can choose between two routes: an easier one on a distance and altitude that can be faced even by less experienced runners (12km, 400 D +) and a more challenging and spectacular one (22Km, 900 D +), characterized by short but intense rises, made even tougher by stretches of fresh snow on the ground and funny descents on the snow. You can choose to run the races individually or in pairs.
Couples can be male-female or mixed.
The first edition of the SNOW FAMILY RUN is also in program: a non-competitive race where the youngest ones will also have fun.
An opportunity for all those runners who want to anticipate the competitive season and an opportunity for those who want to put themselves to the test integrating sports, nature, holiday, friends, family and fun.
The snow-covered paths will be two: one of 22K with a difference of 900 D + and one of 12K with a difference of 400 D + with departure and arrival at the Malga Millegrobbe close to the cross country skiing center.
The long path, mostly new, will pass by the Baita del Neff, located on a rocky spur of Virgo Maria Mount, above the slopes connecting Lavarone with the Alpe Vezzena, to continue, in the heart of the Cimbra forest, to Passo Vezzena, crossing the Forte Busa Verle, historical site of the so-called "Guerra dei Forti", and reach Forte Cima Vezzena, 1908 M asl, with its incredible panorama on the Dolomites, that spans 360 degrees.
The return will be just as fascinating, passing by some of the most characteristic Malghe Cimbre, in the heart of nature, rejoining at the height of the fairy church of Santa Zita, the 12K trail, on the way back to Millegrobbe.
The program can be modified according to organizational needs.
